The island looks great & I like the faucets. Thanks for the tip on the faucet. We installed our new sink and are trying to decide on a new faucet. I will check them out before we buy!
Congrats & good luck getting the marble!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11904671.post-1141784721866607072006-03-07T18:25:00.000-08:002006-03-07T18:25:00.000-08:00You are doing such beautiful work on your house. In some selections on EBay the person called it "Granite Marble" as if it was a type of stone. I don't even think they are in the same family of stone. From looking at the picture it was obviously granite.

The faucets are both stainless steel, believe it or not. Polished nickel would have been my first choice. I was going to go with chrome, but at the last second I switched to the stainless steel. I like it. It looks like brushed nickel.Greghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02807710209656158413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11904671.post-1141749450063686812006-03-07T08:37:00.000-08:002006-03-07T08:37:00.000-08:00If you haven't yet done so, don't forget to add yo...If you haven't yet done so, don't forget to add your blog to the Humguide directory. www.humguide.comFred Mangelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15746646487480850444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11904671.post-1141749386403301492006-03-07T08:36:00.000-08:002006-03-07T08:36:00.000-08:00I hate that about the granite/marble. What's up with that?

By the way, I love the faucets! Is that brushed nickel or polished?
