My upstairs high-tank fills over the side, and I've seen another variation that was filled from the back. Still, the vast majority always have and still do fill from the bottom. Just one more place to leak.

GregGreghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02807710209656158413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11904671.post-81996558829303299632007-06-28T16:59:00.000-07:002007-06-28T16:59:00.000-07:00it's classic...good job...toilet tank design has ...it's classic...good job...toilet tank design has always been beyond my comprehension- i understand the concept of the drain hole being on the bottom, but why is the inlet on the bottom, too? it doubles the opportunities for leaks.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14959664040970782432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11904671.post-15078798333547418292007-06-26T13:27:00.000-07:002007-06-26T13:27:00.000-07:00The marble is pretty!!!The marble is pretty!!!Katherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12562234516601920734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11904671.post-30215709751188275672007-06-26T08:57:00.000-07:002007-06-26T08:57:00.000-07:00Thanks, I got the leak fixed. The way I fixed them was to take the connection back apart and slather on a bunch of pipe dope. The leak should go away completely in a day or two if not right away.

The toilet looks great by the way!Jason and Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07731395305372774135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11904671.post-29394399529104345672007-06-25T17:00:00.000-07:002007-06-25T17:00:00.000-07:00Wow!
