The Petch House Poll
Yes, it's the first - and maybe the last - Petch House Poll. I think it was The Pigeon Point Project that used to do a weekly poll. I can't blame them for stopping. Coming up with a new and clever question each week would be difficult. I stumbled across a site that supplies free polls so I figured, eh, what the hell.
Have fun kids!

Yep, I spent Sunday mornings last spring coming up with new poll questions. After a while I ran dry...

I think the majority of houseblogs sites started after the last PPP poll, so those original polls are known to many only through legend and search results.
Your house style poll makes me wonder what percentage of respondents vote for a favorite style that is different than their own house. Perhaps that's a follow-up poll?
I live in a ranch but voted "other" because I'm really torn between the prairie style house and the art deco house. Now, I have to say I don't like all of them, or even most of them, but when I absolutely fall in love with a house, it's usually art deco or prairie style.
hard to pick when you have so many favorites! So many beautiful styles of old homes. I mainly appreciate high quality craftsmanship, which many styles of homes have.
Good idea on bringing back the poll. If I have a good one come to mind, I'll try to jot it down and email you.
If you have any ideas for poll questions, by all means send them along.
I do miss doing the poll every week. Nick and I have considered starting the poll over with the original questions, but don't know if we're ready to take it on yet, so go for it. Who knows, we may resurrect the Pigeon Point Project Poll before Atticus moves out of the house!
